About The Staff
Suzanna Norris - Owner
I started this business blindly seeking the fulfillment that my passion for horses has always brought me. Boy have my eyes been opened! Just as each horse is a teacher for me to become a better trainer, person, leader, and parent, this business has brought to me the joy and fulfillment that comes from challenge. This is the hardest thing I have ever done, and it has brought me to my knees on several occasions. BUT, through my mistakes and my triumphs I continue to grow and experience the beauty of this short life!! I am just as grateful for the hard times as I am the rewards because they are so instrumental to creating the success that I continue to build.
I am surrounded by incredible people every day. We are all on a journey to be better, stronger, and happier people and we help each other along the way. Hidden Acres is a support system that will benefit children and adults alike. We are committed to love, kindness, and commuication with the horses and with our family of clients.
I have been riding passionately and obsessively for 32 years. My training philosophies have evolved over those years to to hold the relationship between horse and rider to the utmost standard. Without that solid relationship even the best horse and rider cannot express their true potential. I personally love 3-day eventing and the way it tests you as an equestrian athlete on so many different levels. But for all my students it is no difference to me their discipline as long as they are experiencing the phenomenon of true bliss as the horse brings them to synchronicity with the universe!!!
I am a believer in passion and following it with all your heart! So if it is not a horse that you can find that with, look inside and discover what it is that will inspire you, and go after it with all that you have!! No excuses!! AND don't expect it to be easy!! It will be the hardest, yet most rewarding thing you have ever done!! EASY IS OVERRATED!! Enjoy your day!! God bless!!
